Detailed itinerary

DAY 1
Day 1: Hanoi City Tour (-/L/-)

08h00-08h30: The tour guide will pick you up at the Old Quarter area / Opera House area to start for a Hanoi city tour. In the morning, you visit:
Tran Quoc Pagoda is located on an island in the east of West Lake (Tay Ho District). The pagoda has a history of nearly 1500 years, considered the oldest in Thang Long – Hanoi. Its architecture has a harmonious combination of majesty, ancientness and elegance of the surrounding landscape located amidst the quiet background of an immense lake. It was the Buddhist center of Thang Long citadel in the Ly and Tran dynasties.
Ho Chi Minh relic site, a complex includes:  Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnam’s Great Father. Note: On Mondays and Fridays, Uncle Ho’s mausoleum is closed, so you can only visit from the outside.
Uncle Ho’s house, where Uncle Ho lived and worked from 1958 to 1969.
One Pillar Pagoda, a small pagoda built on a pillar in the middle of a square lake, is also a symbol of Hanoi.
Ho Chi Minh Museum is one of the largest museums in Vietnam. The museum focuses mainly on displaying artifacts and documents about the Great Father Ho Chi Minh.
Noon: Have Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, you continue to visit:
Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a complex of relics associated with the history of Thang Long – Dong Kinh citadel and Hanoi province starting from the pre-Thang Long period through the Dinh – pre-Le dynasties, flourished under the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties and became the citadel of Hanoi under the Nguyen Dynasty. This is a massive architectural work built by kings in many historical periods and has become one of the most important monuments in the system of Vietnamese monuments.
Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam, which is considered the first university in Vietnam. It is an ancient architecture, built on a fairly large scale in October 1073 and exists to this day. The Temple of Literature was built to worship Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, and Chu Van An – the principal of Quoc Tu Giam – representing the high moral philosophy of Vietnamese education.
Legendary Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple worship saints Van Xuong and Tran Hung Dao – famous generals in Vietnamese and world history. You can learn about Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.
At the end of the afternoon, you can take a cyclo (pay by yourself) for a walk around the Old Quarter before returning to the hotel or joining a water puppet show …
16h00: You come back to the hotel to check in and take a rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine. In the evening, you are free to walk around and explore the Old Quarter at night. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

08h00: The car and tour guide will pick you up at the meeting point in the Old Quarter and Opera House to depart for Halong Bay. On the way, you stop at Hai Duong to take a rest and freely shop for specialties there.
12h30: Car arrives at Tuan Chau pier. The tour guide will implement some procedures to take the guests on board. Guests are greeted with a “welcome drink”, then have lunch on board, in the middle of the vast sea, bringing a very interesting feeling. While enjoying the dishes with the flavor of the sea, you can also enjoy the majestic natural landscapes of Halong Bay such as: Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi islet, Dog Stone islet,…
In the afternoon, you continue to:
Visit Sung Sot Cave – one of the most beautiful caves of Halong Bay. The ceiling of the cave is covered with a layer of “velvet carpet” with a multitude of “chandeliers” of stalactites, stone statues like stone elephants, stone seals, stone raspberries, stone flowers, etc. After getting to the highest peak of the cave, there is a clear lake with charming landscape surrounding.
Visit Titov Island and swim at the sea there
Join cooking class (mainly spring rolls and other attractive activities for foreigners)
17h00: You return to the cruise, relax, enjoy wine and fruit in the sunset.
19h00: Have dinner on board. After that, you can participate in games on the yacht such as night squid fishing, listening to music, playing games, dancing… Enjoy the feeling of lying in the middle of the immense sea and watching the stars that will surely make you never forget.

DAY 3
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/- )

05h00: You should wake up early to enjoy the fresh air and quiet of the sea on the deck and participate in morning Tai Chi training (note: Tai Chi instruction is only available on ships 4 and 5 star) .
07h00-07h45: You will have breakfast at the restaurant.
08h00: You can kayak or canoe to explore Luon Cave. This is a very interesting and attractive activity for many tourists. In case of time, the cruise will stop for a visit to the Fishing Village where pearls are cultivated. Visitors can witness firsthand the processes that make a precious pearl, from cultivation to harvesting and processing. Not only that, there is also a museum that introduces images of the pearl production process. Then, head to the farming and processing area and ending with the display area of products and jewelry made from pearls.
10:30: You will enjoy a light lunch on board before coming back to Hanoi.
11:30: The cruise arrives at Tuan Chau wharf. The car picks you up to return to Hanoi.
17h00: Arrive in Hanoi. The car takes you back to your room. Have dinner at your own expense to explore the cuisine of the Old Quarter. In the evening, you are free to walk around and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

  • Round trip tram ticket at Bai Dinh pagoda (current fare is 60,000 VND/pax)
  • Drinks in meals, in hotels and other personal expenses
  • Fansipan cable car ticket 750,000 VND/ticket
  • The default program does not include the tour guide traveling to the top of Fansipan due to the fact that Fansipan Legend tourist area does not offer free tickets for tour guides. If you want to have a tour guide to get to Fansipan Peak, the cost applicable to the whole group includes 750,000 VND for cable tickets and the tour guide fee is 300,000 VND
  • Tips for drivers and guides (For Vietnamese tourists: usually from 50,000 VND/person/day; For foreign visitors, the tip is 5$/person/day)

Children Policy

  • Children from 1-4 years old are free (parents take care of all expenses for children, do not occupy seats in the car). 02 adults can be attached for free with 1 child. From the 2nd child and above, the fee is 75% of the tour price.
  • If 01 adult is accompanied by 01 child from 1-4 years old, the child must buy 50% of the adult’s tour price (enjoy the service like children 5-9 years old).
  • Children from 5-9 years old pay 75% of tour price (separate meals, separate seat in private cars but must sleep with parents). 02 charged children also do not have their own bed.
  • Children 10 years and older are counted as adults.
