Luc Yen, Yen Bai is a district in the Northwest mountainous region of Vietnam. Here, there are rolling hills, majestic mountains, rising between heaven and earth like arms embracing nature here. Not only that, the features of the Northwest mountains also include terraced fields, murmuring streams, or the sound of rushing waterfalls creating a harmony between heaven and earth.
Luc Yen is about 80km from Yen Bai city center, 250km northwest of Hanoi capital. Due to the favor of nature, in the land of Luc Yen, there are many precious stones with high economic value such as Ruby and sapphire. Because of this, when mentioning Luc Yen, people think of a “gemland” of the northern mountainous region
Day 1: Hanoi – Luc Yen (240km – 4,5 hours)
Departing from Hanoi at 8am, take the Ha Noi – Lao Cai highway, turn to the exit Mau A – Van Yen, around 1pm have lunch at the Mận homestay in Tan Linh commune – Luc Yen. After resting, the group cycled to Pu palm homestay in Lam Thuong commune where there is a peaceful and poetic landscape, with orange orchards, rice fields with houses on stilts, palm forest around mountains – This is where Tay, Nung and Dao ethnic groups live. On the way, the delegation stopped to visit some locals, have a chat and drink tea as well as learn about the culture and life of indigenous people.
After 14km of cycling, we will arrive at Pù Cọ homestay (Viet house), the group will have dinner and spend the first night here.

Day 2: Trekking Pu Lung Trang or Nam Chan waterfall (3-6 hours depending on weather conditions and ability)
After breakfast we will trek 7km (or 11km if not using motorbike taxi), about 3.5 hours. The trek goes through palm hills, bamboo hills, rock crevices (like Cuc Phuong), super huge old trees. At the end of the trek, we will visit Nam Chan waterfall, a green stream located between the wild mountains of Lam Thuong. You can choose to have lunch according to the picnic meal or the car will pick you up for lunch at the homestay. Rest after the trek, the guide and car will pick you up back at Mận homestay, have dinner and overnight here.
(The second option is the Pu Lung trek starting from Pu Cọ palm and ending at Tan Lĩnh Mận house (16km)).

Day 3: Visit Luc Yen gemstone market – Hanoi
After breakfast, the group will travel 7km to Yen The town to visit the market and learn about gems with a gemologist, visit An Phu gem mine, and watch the production. In the afternoon, after lunch, the group will depart for Hanoi around 18.00
